Snow Conditions
Great top to bottom skiing and boarding across the entire resort. The mountain had a firm base which was covered in a light dry layer of snow after another dusting overnight and snowmaking on the lower trails. The groomed were a treat in cord and there were plenty of windblown pockets up high.

Snow Riding
It was a fab day on the mountain with windblown pockets of powder up high and the groomed slopes in great condition. The Bluff, Funnel Web and up around Karels were a few of the highlights for the advanced while the upper intermediates loved the fresh cover down Waimea and World Cup. The freshly groomed Cruiser area and tree-lined High Noon were the groomers’ tip and the Supertrail is always a popular choice for a challenge. The Basin was in great shape and provided the next step for the beginners and littlies after warming up on Friday Flat.

TerrainParks
High Noon intermediate park: down turbo tube, 30ft jump, 20ft jump, down flat down, gap to 6m turbo tube, 9m round down bar, A-frame and a Toblerone set in with banked sides. Tip of the Day
The sun was shining and the sky was blue, I had a ripper of a day; I hope you did too. After a big day of riding it’s time to unwind, in the Thredbo Village – it’s one of a kind.
